Museum Archive: Vintage TODDCO Main liner , 2/5oz Nickel fishing spoon #8606

Nickel plating provides a mirror-like finish on this leaf-shaped Main liner spoon, a design that TODDCO manufactured in the USA until 1980. Its 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) body is stamped with a distinct central ridge that adds structural rigidity to the metal. At the front, a clean-punched hole allows for direct line attachment, while the rear of the 12.5 g (2/5 oz) lure carries a stout treble hook secured by a heavy-duty split ring. Rated at a condition of 5/5, the surface remains bright and clear of any visible wear. This specimen, identified by product code 8606, is a solid example of mid-century American spoon construction intended for casting or trolling.
