Measuring a substantial 3 1/4" (8 cm) in length, this spinner features a wide French blade designed to facilitate the cone rotation system originally developed by Andre Meulnart in 1938. The Silver / Rainbow Trout color scheme is enhanced by UV-reactive coatings on the stacked pink body beads, which provides a distinct glow in low-light environments. Weighing 1/2 oz (14 g), the lure carries the classic "Mepps Aglia - 5" stamping across its reflective silver surface, accented by a blue and pink gradient with black dot patterns. The hardware includes a treble hook dressed with natural bucktail and turkey-quill accents, a design choice popularized in the US by Todd Sheldon during the 1960s. Assembled in the USA using components manufactured in France, this specimen under product code 13519 is in 5/5 condition. The lure's heavy-duty wire construction and clevis-mounted blade are engineered for immediate rotation upon contact with the water.
