South Bend Trix-Oreno 594
Trix-Oreno was produced by South Bend in the 1940s.
The Trix-Oreno, with features hitherto unknown in fly rod lures, has startled the fly fishing world. When cast up, down, or across running streams, or in lakes, and allowed to sink of its own accord, it will flutter like a living bug without any manipulation of the fly rod.
It fills a long-felt want of the fly fisherman. It enables him to reach the trout and other fish in the early season when they are needing on underwater life. It is especially good on hot, sultry, summer days when the fish are in deep water. It just seems to coax the big 'uns out of those deep, dark pools.
