Stamped clearly on the reverse side with "PAT. NO. 2719378," the nickel body of this South Bend Super-Duper 501 demonstrates a unique hybrid design. Weighing 3/32oz (2.3g) and measuring 1 1/4" (3 cm), the lure utilizes a distinctive folded metal geometry that combines the properties of a spinner and a spoon. This specimen, identified by product code 20084, features a strip of multi-faceted prism tape and a localized red paint accent near the forward split ring. The hardware consists of original split rings and a treble hook, all appearing in 5/5 condition with the plating remaining bright and reflective across both surfaces.
