A bold red and white honeycomb scale pattern characterizes the face of this mid-century casting tool. Stamped clearly on the nickel-finished reverse is the legendary "DARDEVLE" name, identifying a lineage of Eppinger lures that began in Detroit in 1906. This 3/4 oz (21 g) Dardevlet measures 2 3/4" (7 cm) and features the distinct oblong concave body that provides its signature wobbling retrieve. The hardware includes a specialized weedless setup, utilizing a single hook guarded by two wire tines and a splash of red fibers to hide the point. Marked with product code 4261, the specimen retains its sharp devil head logo printed over the cream-colored center stripe. The paint shows only minor evidence of its age, remaining glossy and vibrant for a positive 4/5 condition rating. Because of its weight and weedless design, it was built specifically for punchier casts into thick vegetation where predators hide.
