Weighing in at 1/2 oz (14 g) and measuring 2 1/4" (5.5 cm), the Weedless Hydro Spoon was manufactured by Plasform, Inc. under the Hydro Lures brand. This specific model, identified by Product Code 3040, features a unique design intended for heavy cover like lily pads or thick moss beds. The construction acts as a hybrid between a spoon and a wobbler, engineered to land upright with the hook facing upward on every cast to minimize snags. A multi-strand green and black skirt adds profile to the tail section, complementing the scale-patterned body.
