Museum Archive: Hydro Lures Weedless Hydro Spoon, 3/5oz White / Green fishing spoon #3074

Combining the properties of a traditional spoon with the profile of a surface plug, this 3/5oz (17g) hybrid represents a clever design from the USA-based Hydro Lures company. Measuring 3" (7.5cm) in length, the Weedless Hydro Spoon is engineered to land with the single hook pointed upward, allowing it to navigate lily pads and heavy cover effectively. This particular specimen, identified by product code 3074, features a White / Green finish with a white upper half and a green honeycomb scale pattern covering the lower portion of the body. A multi-strand skirt in coordinating white and green colors is attached to the rear, intended for use during slow retrieves. The lure is in unused condition, still protected within its original vintage blister pack.
