Weighing exactly 1/2 oz (14 g), this Alabama-made surface lure is designed to orient itself hook-up upon hitting the water to navigate the thickest vegetation. Identified by product code 9469, the Weedless Hydro Spoon remains unused and still occupies its original factory packaging. The 2 1/4" (5.5 cm) body features a yellow base with a dense black scale print and a small red highlight at the nose. A long-strand chartreuse skirt provides bulk behind the spoon-shaped body, which was produced by Hydro Lures, a division of Plasform, Inc. in Huntsville. Built for heavy cover, it functions as a surface lure—0 ft (0 m) diving depth—with an integrated wire weed guard to prevent snags in moss beds or lily pads. The manufacturer's notes on the back of the card highlight that it can be retrieved at the slowest of speeds without sinking.
