Weighing in at 1/3oz (9g), this particular spoon features a striking Perch / Silver finish that brings a holographic scale pattern to the classic Louis Johnson shape. Measuring 2" (5cm) in length, the body is crafted from a copper/zinc alloy that is thicker in the middle, a design choice meant to produce a rocking motion through a 270-degree angle. Flipping it over reveals the 'MADE IN USA' stamp on the silver-plated underside, marking it as a vintage piece from before production moved overseas. The single hook is shielded by a fixed metal weed guard, a feature specifically intended for casting into thick lily pads or grass. While the top showcases the green hues and vertical bars of a perch, the belly is plated in real silver to provide a brighter, whiter flash than standard chrome.
