Dressed in a bright chartreuse finish that reacts intensely to UV light, this 2/5 oz (12 g) spoon represents a specialized evolution of Louis Johnson’s legendary 1920 design. Carrying product code 7711, the 2 1/4" (6 cm) body is plated in real silver beneath the paint, providing a whiter flash than standard chrome. The signature integrated weed guard allows for confident fishing in heavy vegetation. Because the spoon is thicker in the center, it maintains a rocking motion through a 270-degree arc, which keeps the hook point upright and clear of debris. This particular specimen comes from the vintage USA-made production line. The fluorescent chartreuse side glows vividly under UV light, increasing visibility in stained water.
