Measuring a substantial 3 1/2" (9cm), this heavy-duty casting spoon carries the unmistakable heft of a 1oz (28g) classic. The reverse is stamped with the original "DETROIT. U.S.A." mark, grounding this specimen in Eppinger’s historical Michigan roots before their 1959 move. On the face, the iconic red and white horizontal stripes are centered by the recognizable devil head logo, a symbol that has signaled quality to pike and lake trout anglers for over a century. Cataloged under product code 0062, the spoon remains in solid 4/5 condition. It shows light superficial marks from years in a tackle box, yet the high-contrast paint and chrome backing remain bright and functional. This model is rigged with a heavy-gauge treble hook attached via a sturdy split ring, built for the rigors of casting or deep trolling. In clear water, that chrome back provides the necessary flash to grab attention from a distance, while the bold stripes offer a clear target for predatory fish during a steady retrieve.
