A shimmering Rainbow Silver gradient distinguishes this 3 1/2" (9cm) Eppinger spoon, a profile specifically designed for heavy casting applications. Identified by product code 0242, the specimen features the iconic stamped devil logo on its front face. On the reverse, the "DARDEVLE DETROIT USA" and "1 OZ" stamps are clearly legible, marking its origin from the manufacturer's early Michigan production. Weighing 1oz (28g), the lure uses a heavy-gauge metal that provides the density needed for reaching depth or cutting through wind. The hardware is in excellent shape, featuring a bright treble hook and a strong split ring. Given its 5/5 condition rating, the paint remains smooth across the concave surface with no signs of use. This oblong shape is engineered to generate a unique wobbling action, a technical feature that has defined the brand since Lou Eppinger founded it in 1906. The durable construction is a hallmark of the series, which famously saw these lures included in aviation survival kits during wartime.
