Weighing in at 1oz (28g), this heavyweight casting spoon carries the necessary mass for long, accurate reaches into deeper water. The underside features the deeply impressed "DARDEVLE" DETROIT. U.S.A. stamp, which marks it as a mid-century piece manufactured before Eppinger relocated from Detroit to Dearborn in 1959. Measuring 3 1/2" (9cm) in length, the spoon displays the classic Red and White striped pattern over a nickel base. The paint on this 0802 model shows signs of its history with visible wear and chipping that exposes the bright metal beneath, earning it a condition rating of 3/5.
