A bold black and white striped pattern, identified as color 02, defines the finish on this classic spoon lure. Weighing in at 1oz (28g) and measuring 3 1/2" (9cm) in length, this Eppinger Dardevle remains a substantial casting tool designed for pike, muskie, and large trout. This specific specimen is unused and has been carefully preserved alongside its original red box, which features the "Osprey" branding and the iconic devil head logo. Identified by product code 12579, the lure showcases the heavy-gauge metal construction that Lou Eppinger made famous in Detroit, Michigan. The spoon is fitted with a stout, darkened treble hook secured by a heavy-duty split ring. While the front face carries the high-contrast stripes, the reverse side maintains a clean, metallic finish typical of these USA-manufactured classics. The paint application shows the distinct, sharp lines between the white center and the black edges, characteristic of the factory-original 02 color scheme.
