Measuring a substantial 3 1/2" (9cm) in length, this spoon features the classic red and white striped pattern that has identified the Eppinger brand for decades. Weighing in at 1oz (28g), it carries enough heft for casting or deep-water trolling. The front face of the lure displays the famous devil head logo, synonymous with the Dardevle line since its early days in Michigan. Flipping the lure over reveals a clean nickel finish stamped with 'DARDEVLE' and 'DEARBORN MI', a marking that indicates its production after Lou Eppinger moved operations from Detroit in 1959. This specimen is in 5/5 condition, showing a bright metallic luster and crisp paint lines. It comes rigged with a heavy-duty silver treble hook secured by a sturdy split ring at the tail. The concave teardrop shape is a proprietary design used by Eppinger to create a specific wobbling path through the water. Product code 15290 represents one of the most recognizable patterns in American fishing history. The punch hole at the nose is clean and ready for a snap or leader attachment.
