Tipping the scales at 1/4 oz (7 g), this Glen Evans Loco 2 features a distinctive fluorescent yellow perimeter designed to react under UV light. Measuring 2" (5 cm) in length, the spoon is constructed with a silver "Flectolite" scale pattern center meant to catch and disperse light across the water column. This specimen carries the product code 6700 and remains preserved in its original vintage blister pack, originating from Caldwell, Idaho. The lure is unused, with the metal and finish showing the same luster as when it left the Gladding Corporation's factory. Its hardware consists of a single belly-mounted treble hook and a strong split ring for line attachment. Historically utilized for both casting and trolling, the Loco design was often favored for pike and other predators in shallow environments up to 3 ft (0.9 m) deep. The cardback emphasizes the Glen L. Evans legacy of creating tackle intended to fool the fish, rather than just the fisherman.
