A bold black stripe runs down the center of the lime-green mackerel pattern on this heavy-duty casting spoon. Weighing a substantial 1 3/4 oz (50 g) and measuring 3 1/2" (9 cm) in length, the Rok’t Dardevle (Product Code 19304) is constructed for reaching deep structures. Stamped on the polished concave reverse is the "DARDEVLE DEARBORN MI." hallmark, signifying its manufacture at Eppinger's Michigan facility. This specimen is in 5/5 condition, retaining a brilliant, high-contrast finish on the front and a mirror-like sheen on the stamped metal back. The hardware is comprised of a robust bronze-finished treble hook secured by a heavy-duty split ring. These American-made spoons, produced using proprietary dies, have been a staple for anglers since Lou Eppinger first began hand-making lures in his basement in 1906. The mackerel paint scheme utilizes wavy black lines to break up the bright profile, a detail specifically designed for visibility in the water column.
