A bright gold finish covers the surface of this hefty 1oz (28g) casting spoon. Measuring 3 1/2" (9cm), this Eppinger Weedless Dardevle, identified by Product Code 10730, is equipped for navigating heavy vegetation. The single hook is shielded by an integrated wire weed guard, a mechanical feature designed for pulling through thick lily pads. A vibrant tuft of red feathers is secured to the hook shank with yellow thread, providing a distinct focal point against the metal. Rating this specimen at 4/5, the gold plating shows soft signs of age through scattered dark spots and light surface wear. These lures continue to be produced in Michigan using proprietary dies that maintain the iconic teardrop profile developed by Lou Eppinger over a century ago.
